Stronghold Shards:
When starting to play its best to keep your in game patching cut off..this will give you more fps and better game play. On the main sign in screen go into Options and unclick ON-demand patching.

Adventurer’s Shard of Power – Obtained from Heroic Encounters and Campaign Daily quests from the Stronghold.
Conqueror’s Shard of Power – Obtained from PvP quests like Domination and Stronghold Siege from the Stronghold.
Dungeoneer’s Shard of Power – Obtained from Dungeon quests from the Stronghold.
Heroic Shard of Power – Obtained from special in-stronghold quests and Heroic Encounters.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VIP - VIP is one of the best features you can buy in the game, not only do you get your daily chest keys (3x) but you get one lockbox key everyday...as your VIP builds (there is 12 levels possible and you will not loose the rank even if you take a break on VIP) you obtain things such as the bank, the postal, and of course the awesome travel post that saves you so much time in game. One tip here is if you are buying either with astraldiamonds or ZEN you can save your daily invoke bags..getting a 15% off coupon will lower your cost down from 1k to 850 zen :) Over a years time that saves you 1800 zen :O

TENDING - Is very simple and a process we do daily. Its as easy as going to each location, pressing F on the sign, clicking Tend and done. How do you know when to tend? Its best if you check when you log in and when your about to log out. You do not even have to go to the stronghold. Press G on your keyboard and then click the tab Stronghold . You will see a list of places withing the stronghold...the five places below are the locations we tend and their max. hold limits. When you do your check if they are close to filling up you simply go tend :) Our goal is to always keep these generating so that we have supplies we need for the coffer. Note that the Recruiter at the Mill is only 800. These structures will be maxed every 8 hrs so tending needs to be done before this time (the 8 hr timer resets each time its tended - so tending can be done at any time before its maxed) - the Assayer is an exception as it fills up every 5 hrs !!
Quarry total hold limit 7200 (per 8 hrs)
Mine total hold limit 6600 (per 8 hrs)
Farm total hold limit 7200 (per 8 hrs)
Lumberyard total hold limit 8400 (per 8 hrs)
Recruiter at Mill total hold limit 800 (per 8 hrs)
Gemcutter total hold limit 1152 (per 8 hrs)
Assayer << makes 3 gold per 5 hrs !!!
IMPORTANT: Tending during Jubilee is extremely important...this tending is only available during the event and is only able to be tended for 24 hours..everyone should chip in and make sure these stay tended !

Each week beginning on Monday after reset, there are several locations you can do to earn astral diamonds. Included :
Ballad of Baphomet - located in the Under dark in Mantol-Derith 4500 AD Quest Giver: Bruenor Battlehammer
The Red Wizards Quest - located in Dread Ring 4500 AD
Quest Giver: Sergeant Knox
Quest Giver: Sergeant Knox
Protecting the Portal - located in Protectors Enclave 4500AD
Quest Giver: Harper Boward
Reclaiming the Hoard - located in the Well of Dragons 4500AD Quest Giver: Harper Boward
Quest Giver: Elminster
Biggrin's Tomb - located in Ice Wind Dale of Caer-Konig 4500AD
Quest Giver: Faction Representative (Either Ten Towns or Arcane Brotherhood)
Gear and Items:
* Mounts increase run speed which helps with leveling speed, but you can also get Insignias of Prosperity from the Auction House that you can equip to your mount that give bonus XP. You will want mounts with regal, enlightened and universal slots, and slot them with Prosperity Insignias. You can get cheap mounts for gold or on the AH, or from events.
Inscribed Garments can be purchased from the Zen Market and will give you 20% extra XP.
* Ensorcelled Items and other scaling can be bought on the AH. This is powerful equipment that scales with your level and can be used at any level! A full list of scaling gear can be found here. I am usually not bothered with much gear as leveling is so fast anyway.
* Get a companion at level 16. Companions are a really important aspect of Neverwinter. Companions come in different types like Healers, DPS and Tanks. Get one that complements your class and playstyle and they will really help you out. If you can, get a epic quality companion for the toon that you are leveling. I usually get the Redcap companion as it is a cheap epic quality striker that will help you plow through content.
You can give your Companions high level gear that will make them a lot more powerful.
* Bagspace: If you can get some bags, this will help you out a lot. The more room you have in your inventory the better. (keep in mind there is 2 bags you get doing the main questline - but there is room for more)
XP Bonuses and Extra XP Gain:
* Invoke to the gods (after level 11). Pressing CTRL + I next to an Altar (found in Neverwinter or as drops from mobs) will have your character pray. You will get stat boost, potions etc, and you will get XP. Quite a lot of XP actually, so pray as often as you can.
* Experience Booster and Epic Experience Booster from the Zen Market. If you have Zen or is willing to buy Zen i would recommend that you buy an Epic Experience Booster. You will get 2x XP all the way up to level 70 and will level twice as fast. These are also rewards from events sometimes, like the Winter festival.
* Double XP events happen quite often and it can be wise to leave leveling alts to these periods. Check the calendar in game to see when the next XP weekend is!
* Being a VIP member will give you 10% extra XP.

* Being a member of KOE, you have a experience boon in your guild stronghold boons, make sure this is active !
